Cost Controller

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking a motivated Cost Controller to join its dynamic team. You will work closely with experienced professionals, monitoring project and operational expenses while providing clear financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control operational and project costs against approved budgets.
• Analyse cost structures, profitability and overall financial performance.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual cost reports.
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
• Develop interactive dashboards using Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
• Present financial data through charts, graphs and KPIs for management.
• Automate reporting processes and enhance data visibility.
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and update forecasts based on actual performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, assist internal/external audits and maintain data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analysis or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Fluent in Arabic, English and French.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (dashboards, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI.
