Copy Center Operator

About the role

The Copy Center Operator ensures the efficient production of printed and digital materials in a fast‑paced copy center environment. You will operate a range of equipment, maintain quality standards, and support customers with their printing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain copy machines, printers, scanners, plotters, and finishing equipment such as binders, laminators and cutters.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, including toner replacement, jam clearing and routine equipment troubleshooting.
• Prepare files for printing, ensure correct formatting and handle PDF and other file types.
• Receive and process customer orders in‑person, by phone or online, and generate work orders and invoices.
• Maintain accurate records of production, inventory and consumables.
• Organise paper, supplies and finished jobs for easy access and a tidy work area.
• Assist with basic printing installation procedures and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in a copy center or print shop.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes of consumables and finished jobs.
• Willingness to work weekends or holidays when needed.
• Arabic, English and French language skills are a plus.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and customer‑service orientation.
