Consultant – First Phase Development of Arab Digital Agenda ADA 2.0

About the role

The Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) seeks a consultant to support the first phase of developing the second edition of the Arab Digital Agenda (ADA 2.0). This remote, six‑month assignment involves producing strategic documents, reports, and presentation materials that will guide digital policy across the Arab region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare an inception note and detailed workplan for version 1 of ADA 2.0.
• Review and provide feedback on evolving editions of the Arab Digital Development Report (ADDR) as regional baselines.
• Draft successive iterations of version 1 of ADA 2.0, including a provisional progress report and proposed architecture for member countries.
• Produce an executive summary in English, PowerPoint presentations, and briefing materials.
• Compile a consolidated bibliography and references database.

Required profile

• Consultant capable of delivering the specified outputs within the six‑month timeframe.
• Strong command of English for drafting executive summaries and reports.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word (editable .docx format).
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation preparation.
