Compliance and Reporting Officer

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Compliance and Reporting Officer to ensure that cash, commodity, food and livelihood programmes in Lebanon meet World Vision global standards, donor regulations and audit recommendations. The role will support project teams in establishing robust control mechanisms and delivering accurate monthly reconciliations and reports.

Key responsibilities

• Review WV and donor standards to assess financial and programmatic risk across all cash, commodity, food and livelihood projects.
• Develop and implement long‑term risk‑management strategies and standardised SOPs in line with global standards.
• Lead monthly reconciliation of grants, compile internal and external reports, and ensure all supporting documentation is available.
• Act as the focal point for internal and external audits, preparing audit materials and conducting spot‑checks.
• Oversee stock management, loss claims and asset registers to ensure compliance with donor regulations.
• Support project closure processes, obtaining required sign‑offs and verifying that all documentation meets WV standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, reporting or audit functions within humanitarian or development programmes.
• Strong knowledge of donor regulations, risk‑management principles and financial controls.
• Ability to work closely with project leads and build capacity on compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for monthly programmatic reconciliations.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
