Biomedical Engineer – Orthopedic

About the role

The Biomedical Engineer – Orthopedic is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning orthopedic medical equipment at client sites. This full‑time, on‑site position supports clinical staff, ensures equipment safety, and contributes to continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission orthopedic devices at client locations.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance, including preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and conduct calibration of orthopedic systems.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and complies with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
• Support clinical staff in proper device usage and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and coordinate spare‑part orders with suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal teams on training for new technologies and process improvement.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in biomedical engineering with a focus on orthopedic applications.
• Experience with medical equipment and clinical engineering practices in healthcare settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality procedures for medical technology.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with clinical staff, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Organizational ability to manage multiple service requests and attention to detail.
