AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Lebanon)

About the role

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join Aspire Software’s Professional Services team in Lebanon. You will own and operate the AWS environment that powers WeSuite and our hosted customer platforms, working daily with core AWS services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and improve AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC/Transit Gateway, Route 53, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM, CloudFormation, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Plan and execute migrations between accounts, regions, and platforms with minimal disruption.
• Manage Windows Server and IIS hosting, including SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle and bindings.
• Perform SQL Server administration on RDS and EC2 (backups, restores, permissions, performance troubleshooting).
• Develop and maintain PowerShell and AWS CLI automation for recurring operational tasks.
• Build and extend automated deployment pipelines and CloudFormation templates for repeatable provisioning.
• Monitor cloud spend, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and implement optimization measures.
• Address security findings, support SOC 2 compliance, and remediate IAM and GuardDuty issues.
• Interact directly with hosted customers during deployments, networking queries, and pre‑sales technical discussions.

Required profile

• 2–3 + years of hands‑on AWS production experience (console and CLI).
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Solid Windows Server administration experience, including IIS.
• SQL Server administration experience (backups, restores, permissions, performance).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and AWS CLI automation.
• Clear written communication and ability to document solutions.
• Professional, calm demeanor when working directly with customers.
