Auto Body Technician (Flat Rate)

About the role

The Auto Body Technician is responsible for delivering a high‑quality, fast, and customer‑focused repair experience. Working in a busy shop, you will assess damage, plan repairs, and restore vehicles to their pre‑accident condition while upholding the company’s WOW operating standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Assess vehicle damage, create repair plans and cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to remove damaged sections.
• Repair dents with filler resins, realign chassis and frames, and replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior components.
• Weld and fit new or aftermarket parts, then prepare and repaint vehicles with factory‑specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor‑time guidelines and inspect finished repairs for quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support shop operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school completion or a 3‑year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lb, bend, kneel, squat and work in noisy, odorous environments.
