About the role
Our client in Lebanon seeks an experienced Audit Manager to lead banking‑related audit activities. The role involves overseeing audit processes, ensuring compliance, and mitigating financial risks within the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain audit procedures that reflect best practices and address specific risk areas.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential financial losses due to fraud or asset mismanagement.
- Review financial records, statements, and related documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning.
- Coordinate with external parties such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, lenders, investors, and regulators.
Required profile
- Strong finance‑based analytical skills.
- Minimum 10 years of external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
- Professional certifications such as CPA and CIA are a major plus.
