Assistant Manager (Retail)

About the role

Bubble CITEA is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support daily store operations and help deliver a memorable bubble tea experience. You will work closely with the Store Manager, lead the team in their absence, and ensure high standards of service, product quality, and store presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with staff scheduling, stock control, and administrative tasks.
• Lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence, maintaining morale and performance.
• Handle customer queries and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Manage cash handling, end‑of‑day finance, and inventory reconciliation.
• Motivate staff to achieve sales targets and uphold the brand’s ‘Sunny Service’ standards.
• Ensure consistent drink preparation, product quality, and allergen compliance.
• Maintain store cleanliness, presentation, and operational equipment.
• Support staff training, assign tasks efficiently, and contribute to budget goals.
• Uphold health, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Previous managerial or supervisory experience in a fast‑paced food or beverage environment.
• Natural leader with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude.
• Passionate about people, service, and personal development.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, punctual, and legally eligible to work in the UK.
