AI Platform Engineer

About the role

GlobeMed Group, the leading Healthcare Benefits Management company in the MENA region, is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure that powers its AI initiatives. You will work closely with the AI Transformation team, business stakeholders, and ICT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain AI development, testing, and production environments across cloud and on‑premises.
• Support deployment, operation, and monitoring of AI models, services, and applications.
• Design and develop AI‑powered applications, agents, Model Context Protocols (MCPs) and workflow automation.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI technologies into enterprise systems.
• Develop front‑end interfaces, scalable back‑end services, and APIs for AI solutions.
• Deploy and manage AI workloads on Microsoft Azure, implement CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud resource usage.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and business units to define technical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing AI infrastructure and ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
• Hands‑on expertise in full‑stack development for AI‑enabled applications.
• Strong background in cloud operations, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and document technical architectures.
