About the role

We are looking for a production‑minded software engineer to join Zaqa’s early engineering team in Lebanon. You will work directly with the CTO and Chief Scientist to build AI‑driven back‑office automation for industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve production failures, tracing issues from symptoms to root cause.
Own and improve integrations with external APIs, ERP systems, and email‑based workflows.
Ship targeted, well‑tested changes to production systems used by real customers.
Improve observability and reliability across asynchronous workflows.
Build new product features across the backend and frontend.
Collaborate directly with the founders to translate customer problems into system improvements.

Required profile

Production‑oriented mindset with a focus on reliability.
Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of end‑to‑end solutions.
Strong problem‑solving and reasoning about large‑scale systems.
Comfortable collaborating with technical leaders and founders.
