AI & Automation Specialist (Remote, Lebanon)

About the role

Buitanda is looking for a resourceful person to bring the latest AI capabilities into its daily operations. You will work directly with management and alongside a strong development team to identify opportunities, experiment with tools and turn successful ideas into reliable automations. The position is remote and based in Lebanon.

Key responsibilities

• Follow developments in AI and identify tools and capabilities that could benefit the business.
• Set up AI agents to research businesses, find potential listings, organise information and help add listings to the platform.
• Build workflows that connect AI tools with existing business systems.
• Explore automation across customer service, WATI and WhatsApp, social media, content creation, design and reporting.
• Use AI to analyse business data and highlight useful insights.
• Test ideas, demonstrate results and turn successful experiments into everyday workflows.
• Work with developers on custom integrations or backend support when needed.
• Monitor automated tasks, check the quality of their output and set up appropriate human review.

Required profile

• Actively uses tools such as Claude and ChatGPT and explores new capabilities as they appear.
• Practical experience with AI agents, browser automation or workflow tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier.
• Able to take an idea from "could we automate this?" to a working demonstration.
• Comfortable learning unfamiliar tools and solving problems independently.
• Understands how AI supports business operations, research, marketing and content.
• Communicates well in English and takes ownership of work.
• Demonstrated ability, curiosity and results are valued more than a specific degree.

Required skills

• Experience with AI agents, browser automation or workflow tools (n8n, Make, Zapier).
• Coding and API knowledge are an advantage; advanced software development or machine learning experience is not required, as the development team supports technical implementation.
