Agricultural Engineer – Training & Project Implementation

About the role

NatureBeats is looking for a motivated Agricultural Engineer / Food Engineer to design, plan, implement and monitor agriculture, food processing and agro‑business projects across Lebanon. The role combines field‑based training, community engagement and project management to support vulnerable communities, including women, youth, refugees and small business owners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theoretical trainings on agriculture, food processing, agro‑business, food safety, climate‑smart agriculture and agroecology.
• Facilitate sessions with vulnerable groups, adapt methods to literacy levels, and provide follow‑up coaching.
• Support project planning, work‑plan development, risk assessment and coordination with partners, municipalities and NGOs.
• Prepare high‑quality reports, documentation, donor updates and case studies.
• Develop strategies, SOPs, guidelines, checklists and technical tools for agriculture and food system resilience.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in agro‑business, agriculture or food‑system projects.
• Strong field experience and ability to work with vulnerable communities.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Capacity to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and adhere to donor requirements.
