Accounting & Finance Specialist (F&B Experience) – Downtown

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Specialist with a strong background in the food and beverage (F&B) sector to join our downtown operation. The role will oversee full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, and cost control to support profitable restaurant management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly financial reports, including P&L statements and variance analysis.
• Manage full‑cycle accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee daily sales reconciliation between POS data and cash/card reports, and conduct surprise cash counts.
• Monitor food cost percentages, stock consumption, and conduct monthly physical inventory counts.
• Validate supplier invoices against purchase orders, process payments, and reconcile supplier statements.
• Prepare VAT declarations, ensure tax compliance, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Produce cash‑flow projections, monitor working capital, and support month‑end and year‑end closing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the F&B industry.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and integrity.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant operations.
• Experience using F&B‑specific accounting software.
• Hands‑on knowledge of AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month‑end closing.
• Competence in VAT compliance and cash‑flow forecasting.
