Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team at CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced professionals, develop key accounting skills and grow within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Participate in month‑end closing, including journal entries, inventory variations and reconciliations.
• Perform inter‑company reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve differences.
• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Handle petty cash and employee expense reports with proper documentation.
• Support VAT, NSSF and tax declarations ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and assist in preparing management financial reports.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Arabic, English and French.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data handling).
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP software.
