Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support accurate, efficient and compliant accounting operations. The role involves financial processing, reconciliations, reporting and participation in finance automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records, prepare journal vouchers and book transactions, including invoice control from the Facilities Management Department.
• Handle goods costing module, generate related reports and manage accounts payable for principals and expenses.
• Prepare monthly statements for principals, validate unaccounted transactions and support settlement processes.
• Manage banking and cash activities such as bank letters, petty cash, currency exchange and issuance of payment vouchers.
• Compile, analyse and interpret financial data using automated reporting tools and advanced Excel analytics; perform both automated and manual reconciliations.
• Support data‑cleansing, validation and financial data‑quality initiatives; automate recurring reports and reconciliations.
• Contribute to finance automation and digital‑transformation projects, leveraging AI‑assisted tools and collaborating with IT and Finance on ERP enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced computer proficiency and strong analytical thinking.
• Excellent attention to detail, time‑management and communication skills.
