Accountant – Financial Reporting & General Ledger

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team. You will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accurate transaction recording, and assist with periodic financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries for all business transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable: process invoices, prepare payments, and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Assist with accounts receivable: generate customer invoices, track payments, and follow up on past‑due accounts.
• Support general ledger activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance‑sheet accounts.
• Prepare bank, credit‑card, and other reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Assist senior accountants with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Contribute to other accounting projects and support financial closing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient English (verbal, reading, and writing).
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Immediate availability to join.
