Accountant – Finance & Accounting Position

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. You will work alongside experienced professionals, develop core accounting skills, and have opportunities for growth within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Participate in month‑end closing, including journal entries, inventory variations, and reconciliations.
• Perform inter‑company reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve differences.
• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Handle petty cash and employee expense reports with proper documentation.
• Support VAT, NSSF, and tax declarations ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for management and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with NSSF and tax declarations is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic, English, and French.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data handling).
• Familiarity with accounting systems or ERP software.
