Video Editor – Remote Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a creative Video Editor to produce performance‑driven video content for our social media channels such as Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. The role involves editing short‑form reels and long‑form videos in Telugu, English and Hindi, with a focus on hooks, pacing and audience retention.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short‑form videos optimized for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, and long‑form YouTube videos when required.
• Structure each video with a strong hook in the first 3‑5 seconds and add accurate subtitles in the appropriate language.
• Enhance pacing, transitions, text overlays and sound design to maximise watch time and engagement.
• Collaborate with Social Media Managers and script writers, interpret briefs and suggest improvements.
• Deliver platform‑specific exports, maintain organised project files and manage revision cycles efficiently.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of hands‑on video‑editing experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Strong portfolio showcasing reels, short‑form content and promotional videos.
• Ability to edit content in Telugu, English and Hindi.
• Understanding of audience‑retention techniques and hook‑based editing.
• Self‑discipline for remote work and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience adding subtitles in Telugu, English and Hindi.
• Basic audio balancing and colour‑correction skills.
• Familiarity with motion‑graphics tools such as After Effects (optional).
• Knowledge of thumbnail design basics (optional).
