Vice President Finance

About the role

Toters is scaling its Marketplace (Food Delivery) and Fresh (Grocery) businesses across Lebanon, Iraq, and future markets. The Vice President Finance will partner closely with the CFO and executive team to drive financial excellence, support complex commercial decisions, and shape the company’s regional growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO on finance strategy, investments, and pricing.
• Lead financial planning for multiple business models with distinct unit economics.
• Drive scenario planning and capital allocation across geographies and verticals.
• Support M&A, partnerships, and new market entry strategies.
• Oversee end‑to‑end finance operations, reporting, and performance tracking across countries.
• Embed a data‑driven performance culture with visibility on unit economics.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, and Product teams to optimize profitability and customer experience.
• Lead pricing, promotions, and margin optimization for food and grocery verticals.
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, audit readiness, and risk management across jurisdictions.
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing, regionally distributed finance team.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles in high‑growth, complex environments.
• Background in multinationals, top‑tier consulting, or leading regional tech/e‑commerce/FMCG players.
• Strong exposure to multi‑country operations and scaling businesses in emerging markets.
• Deep understanding of marketplace and/or inventory‑led business models.
• Proven track record in driving profitability, managing complexity, and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience in capital allocation, investment decisions, and strategic finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA, CPA, or equivalent.
