Travel Consultant

About the role

Sama Tours is a travel management company in Lebanon offering customized journeys for business and leisure travelers, covering destination planning, tickets, accommodation, rental vehicles, airline reservations, hotel bookings, visa assistance, foreign exchange and travel insurance. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Travel Consultant in the Beirut Governorate to advise customers on destinations, itineraries and travel options and to create customized travel plans for corporate and leisure clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on destinations, itineraries and travel options that match their preferences and budgets
• Create customized travel plans for corporate and leisure clients
• Handle reservations for flights, hotels, transportation and holiday packages, ensuring accurate and timely confirmations
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide high-quality service
• Process travel documents and coordinate visa assistance
• Manage changes or cancellations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations, promotions and partner offerings

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Business or a related field is beneficial
• Prior experience in a travel agency or tour operator environment is beneficial
• Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred; additional languages are an advantage

Required skills

• Travel consulting and travel management, including designing tailored itineraries
• Travel arrangements and reservations, including booking flights, hotels and transportation via global distribution systems or online booking tools
• Excellent customer service, clear communication and conflict resolution
• Knowledge of regional and international destinations, travel regulations and documentation requirements, including visas and insurance
• Proficiency in common office and booking software, attention to detail and strong organization and time management
