Tendering & Proposal Specialist

About the role

Averda is seeking a Tendering & Proposal Specialist to lead the preparation and coordination of high‑quality, compliant tender submissions for waste management and environmental services projects. The role involves managing the full bid lifecycle, from pre‑qualification to final submission, ensuring all documentation meets client and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and support the submission of tender and bid proposals for waste management contracts.
• Manage pre‑qualification activities, tender document preparation, client correspondence and clarification processes.
• Draft and edit technical and administrative proposal content in English, and review Arabic content when required.
• Collect and integrate technical, commercial and administrative inputs from internal departments.
• Maintain company registrations and vendor profiles on public procurement portals and e‑tendering platforms.
• Keep accurate tender records, submission logs and document libraries to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences or a related discipline.
• Certification or training in bid management, tendering or proposal management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the waste management and environmental services industry.
• Understanding of public procurement processes and e‑tendering portals, especially GCC government portals.
• Excellent written and spoken English; good command of Arabic and French is beneficial.
