Telephone Operator – Front Desk Reception

About the role

We are looking for a professional and friendly Telephone Operator to be the primary point of contact for our hotel guests. In this role you will ensure smooth and courteous telephone communication, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. You will work within a supportive team in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide accurate information about hotel services and facilities.
• Assist callers with inquiries and route calls to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain detailed and organized call logs.
• Operate the switchboard and other communication systems efficiently.
• Respond calmly to emergency situations and follow established protocols.
• Coordinate messages and information between different departments.
• Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and local information.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of proper telephone etiquette and effective communication techniques.
• Basic computer skills to navigate organizational systems and record information.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high‑pressure situations.
• Exceptional multitasking abilities to manage multiple calls and requests simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure accuracy in message taking and information relay.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to work various shifts as required.
