About the role
The Technical Project Manager will plan, execute, and deliver technology projects on time, within scope and budget. Acting as the central coordination point, they will ensure clear communication and alignment across Engineering, Product, QA, and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, and track progress against them.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Product, QA, Design, Operations) to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate blockers to leadership when needed.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization, reporting variances proactively.
- Run regular status meetings, stand‑ups, and stakeholder updates; maintain clear and accurate project documentation.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies where applicable.
- Ensure quality standards, technical requirements, and compliance/regulatory needs are met.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and third‑party partners.
- Conduct post‑project reviews and document lessons learned to improve future delivery.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field.
- 2+ years in a dedicated Project Manager role delivering technology or software development projects, preceded by at least two years in a hands‑on technical role.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Required skills
- Project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project or Asana.
- Agile/Scrum methodologies and solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, microservices).
