Structural Engineer

About the role

The Eden Group is looking for a technically strong Structural Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team in Lebanon. You will work on residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed‑use and renovation projects, taking designs from concept through construction documentation while collaborating closely with architects, civil, MEP and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and systems.
• Prepare calculations, engineering reports and construction documentation.
• Design structural systems using concrete, steel, wood, masonry and light‑gauge framing.
• Develop plans, framing layouts, details, sections, connection concepts and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, geotechnical consultants and contractors.
• Support system selection during conceptual and feasibility stages.
• Review architectural layouts for structural compatibility and constructability.
• Respond to RFIs, submittals, field conditions and construction coordination issues.
• Assist with renovations, retrofits, tenant improvements and structural modifications.
• Conduct site visits and engineering assessments as required.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, structural standards and internal QA/QC procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) or Structural Engineering.
• 4–7 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Professional registration (EIT/PE/SE) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of structural detailing, load paths, constructability and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent written communication, documentation and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Structural analysis and design software: ETABS, RAM, RISA, STAAD, Enercalc or similar.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
