About the role
The Store keeper is responsible for managing the lifecycle of rental dresses, from cleaning and quality control to inventory tracking and coordination with sales and alterations teams. This role ensures that every garment is ready for client fittings, rentals, or pick‑ups, especially during peak seasons.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee laundry processes: arrange professional cleaning, steaming, repairs, and conduct quality inspections before and after each cleaning cycle.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for bridal and evening dresses, including new arrivals, returns, and lost or damaged items.
- Implement and manage a barcode/tagging system to streamline tracking and rental management.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile physical stock with system data, and address discrepancies.
- Coordinate with external laundry services or in‑house staff to meet scheduled delivery timelines.
- Work closely with the Bridal Department Manager, Sales Associates, and Alterations team to ensure timely availability of dresses for fittings, rentals, and special requests.
