Specialist – Alumni Relations

About the role

Beirut Arab University is looking for a Specialist in Alumni Relations to support alumni engagement through digital channels, database management and communication. The role maintains accurate alumni information, strengthens alumni engagement, manages digital platforms and supports networking and career development initiatives in coordination with university departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Simplicity, the central alumni database and engagement platform, keeping records accurate and up to date
• Coordinate with IT to improve digital tools, reporting, accessibility and user experience, and generate reports and analysis of alumni data
• Manage and update the alumni website, publish success stories, events, announcements and news, and coordinate with web development teams
• Develop digital initiatives, run campaigns and prepare content for newsletters, email campaigns and online announcements
• Monitor social media and campaign performance, and promote alumni achievements, mentoring, networking and career opportunities
• Support alumni events, reunions, workshops, webinars and mentoring, and respond to alumni inquiries
• Work with internal departments and external stakeholders on alumni initiatives and identify ways to increase alumni participation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems or Mass Communications
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in alumni relations or a related field; university or higher education experience is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic

Required skills

• Knowledge of database and CRM principles and familiarity with platforms such as Simplicity
• Website content management and digital platforms
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Web analytics, email marketing, social media analytics and digital campaign tools are an advantage
