Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests at the Health Club and Spa. You will welcome visitors, provide assistance, and ensure a seamless, high‑quality experience that meets or exceeds service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all visitors warmly, invite them to sign the consultation form and provide lockers, towels, bathrobes, and service information.
• Promote membership options, give tours of the Wellness Centre, and assist new members with application forms.
• Handle all cash‑register transactions, balance the register at shift end, and issue receipts.
• Answer incoming calls, manage bookings, cancellations, and liaise with therapists.
• Maintain strict hygiene standards, achieve quality audit scores of 85% or higher, and ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and complete hand‑over notes for the next shift.

Required profile

• Education: Business Administration, Personal Assistant or Secretary certificate (advantage); sales or customer‑service training (advantage).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year reception experience in an international spa.
• Languages: Excellent local language skills and good English oral and written proficiency.
• Competencies: client‑facing experience, business writing, stock & retail management, high‑level customer service, telephone system operation, computer literacy with in‑house booking/database systems, ability to work a 7‑day schedule.
