Solution Architect Tech Lead – Data & AI

About the role

Blue Orange Digital is seeking an expert‑level Solution Architect Tech Lead to design and deliver modern data architecture solutions for clients in Lebanon and Switzerland. The role combines hands‑on engineering with consulting leadership, requiring frequent client interaction, mentorship of delivery teams, and influence over technical direction.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement scalable data pipeline architectures, including Medallion‑style tiered structures.
• Lead adoption of managed and serverless cloud services in Microsoft Fabric and related stacks, building lakehouse and warehouse solutions.
• Drive best practices for advanced ETL/ELT workflows, data governance, and data quality using tools such as dbt and Fivetran.
• Establish and enforce data security, access control, and compliance policies across all pipelines.
• Ensure robust integration with BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and maintain system performance across heterogeneous environments.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on data engineering experience.
• 5+ years working with cloud platforms, especially Azure and AWS.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including Fabric Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Azure AI Search.
• Proven ability to mentor teams, lead client engagements, and travel as needed.
