Software Support Specialist – POS Systems

About the role

We are looking for a customer‑focused Software Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for our restaurant and retail point‑of‑sale (POS) system. You will help users resolve issues, configure the software, and ensure a smooth experience that supports their business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support via phone, email and on‑site visits.
• Diagnose and resolve software problems related to the POS system.
• Assist customers with system setup, configuration and user management.
• Guide users through POS functionality and troubleshoot related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and solutions in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to support documentation and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in software or technical support, preferably with restaurant or retail POS systems.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate clearly.

Required skills

• Knowledge of POS software and hardware components, including setup, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based POS solutions and third‑party integrations.
• Understanding of network infrastructure and troubleshooting principles.
