Software Architect – Cloud & Security

About the role

Design and govern the technical architecture of Phoenix's software platforms, including TAKYEEM, ensuring secure, scalable and reliable solutions that support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Translate functional and non‑functional requirements into solution architectures using C4 modelling, selecting appropriate patterns (microservices, modular monolith, event‑driven, multi‑tenant SaaS).
• Define and publish architecture principles, reference architectures, coding standards and technology stacks in a central engineering handbook.
• Design identity and access management (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, MFA, RBAC) and enforce encryption (TLS 1.2+, AES‑256) across all platforms.
• Architect RESTful and GraphQL APIs (OpenAPI 3.0) and integration flows between TAKYEEM, ERP, CRM and client HR systems.
• Build cloud landing zones, IaC modules and CI/CD pipelines on Microsoft Azure or AWS, incorporating automated security testing.
• Design data models (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), multi‑tenant isolation and reporting pipelines feeding Power BI dashboards.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing enterprise‑scale cloud solutions with a strong focus on security and compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, UAE/KSA PDPL).
• Ability to lead technical discovery workshops, produce build‑ready blueprints and drive governance across development teams and vendors.
