About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Social Science Editor with a degree in Political Science or a related field to review, edit, and develop educational content. The role ensures accuracy, clarity, consistency, and quality across learning materials, assessments, textbooks, and digital resources.

Key responsibilities

• Edit, proofread, and review educational content for grammar, accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to editorial standards.
• Verify the accuracy of historical, political, economic, geographical, and social science information.
• Develop, revise, and improve lesson plans, assessments, and other learning resources.
• Ensure content aligns with curriculum requirements, learning objectives, and educational standards.
• Conduct research and fact‑checking to maintain academic integrity and content quality.
• Review content for neutrality, cultural sensitivity, inclusiveness, and age appropriateness.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers, educators, writers, and subject‑matter experts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science or a related discipline (e.g., International Relations, Sociology, History, Geography, Economics).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in editing, content development, educational publishing, curriculum design, research, or teaching.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with digital content management tools.
