Social Media Marketing Specialist (Remote)

About the role

An international organisation is looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Marketing Specialist to strengthen its online presence, engage its audiences and support its marketing goals. This is a remote, contract role focused on planning, creating and managing social media content across key platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement and enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content calendars aligned with marketing objectives.
• Create and schedule engaging posts, stories and short-form videos.
• Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms.
• Track performance, prepare reports and recommend improvements.
• Keep up with social media trends and identify relevant content opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely messaging.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation.
• Experience managing platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Strong English writing, editing and communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging visuals and short-form videos with tools such as Canva and CapCut.
• Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work with a remote team.
• Relevant education in Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; experience in education or international services is an advantage.
