Social Media Account Manager

About the role

The Social Media Account Manager owns the overall success and growth of assigned client accounts, focusing on organic social media strategies within an agency environment. The role requires evening/PM shift availability aligned with the EST time zone and acts as a strategic advisor to ensure client objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and building trusted partnerships.
• Define, own, and continuously refine account strategies that align with client business goals and growth targets.
• Identify upsell opportunities, propose new initiatives, and track account health and performance.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring realistic timelines, proper scoping, and resource alignment.
• Lead project kick‑offs, monitor progress, and resolve risks or bottlenecks early.
• Coordinate internal teams (creative, content, strategy, traffic) to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Maintain quality standards, enforce internal approvals, and support continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present monthly performance reports, translating data into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Mandatory agency experience.
• Proven experience managing organic social media for clients.
• Availability to work evening/PM shifts aligned with EST.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects concurrently.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on growth and upsell opportunities.
