SMS (A2P) Account Manager

About the role

The SMS (A2P) Account Manager will join Rutatel Technologies in Beirut to manage and grow a portfolio of messaging clients. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering high‑quality A2P SMS, two‑way messaging, HLR cleansing and MNP routing services while ensuring client satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned messaging accounts, handling onboarding, daily communication and issue resolution.
• Monitor traffic volumes, analyze performance reports and identify optimization opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms and maintain accurate account documentation.
• Collaborate with technical, operations and finance teams to coordinate implementations, troubleshoot service issues and manage pricing or billing topics.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to contribute to revenue growth.

Required profile

• Experience in account management or customer success within telecom, messaging or SaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of A2P SMS, two‑way messaging, routing, and basic telecom concepts; familiarity with HLR and MNP services is a plus.
• Ability to analyze traffic data, KPIs and reports to drive improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills and experience with international clients are beneficial.
