Site Lead (Mechanical Installation Engineer)

About the role

Technica International is seeking a proactive Site Lead (Mechanical Installation Engineer) to join its factory team. The role involves supervising on‑site mechanical installation activities for industrial automation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while coordinating with customers, internal teams, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Support and supervise mechanical installation activities at customer sites.
• Assist in installation planning, scheduling, and site preparation.
• Ensure all site and customer requirements are met before and during installation.
• Oversee equipment unloading, handling, erection, and provide commissioning support.
• Attend project testing at Technica and report required improvements.
• Monitor site progress, reporting delays, risks, or issues to management.
• Maintain daily communication with customers and provide progress updates.
• Prepare daily reports, snag lists, and site documentation (CSQ, handover, as‑built, etc.).
• Support customer training and commissioning activities.
• Assist in resolving installation snags and after‑sales service requests.
• Enforce safety procedures and promote safe work practices on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial installation or site‑based engineering.
• Proven experience working on customer sites and supporting project execution.
• Strong communication, reporting, and coordination abilities.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
