Site Engineer – Residential Log Projects (Part‑time)

About the role

Mattar Homes is seeking a proactive Site Engineer to join its team on a part‑time basis. The role bridges the design office and the construction site, ensuring that high‑quality residential log projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the company’s exacting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities, guaranteeing compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Develop and monitor project timelines, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage procurement of materials, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate deliveries to avoid site downtime.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and compile snagging lists to maintain finish quality.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, including budget tracking and site logs, to stakeholders.
• Enforce health and safety standards for all on‑site personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the residential sector.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Experience in vendor management and material cost control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with labourers, subcontractors, and clients.
