Shelter, WASH & Infrastructure Coordinator

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council seeks an expert to lead Shelter, WASH and Infrastructure programming in Lebanon. The Coordinator will design proposals, support partners, and ensure compliance with DRC standards while working closely with protection, economic recovery and peacebuilding teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design of proposals, project plans and budgets for multiple donors in collaboration with programme and grants teams.
• Provide technical advice to local partners, oversee implementation, and ensure high‑quality reporting.
• Conduct field visits, quality assurance assessments and capacity assessments for partners.
• Develop SOPs, guidance documents and training materials on site management, shelter and WASH.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience in CCCM, shelter, WASH or related sectors for an INGO.
• Master’s degree in architecture, engineering, life sciences or a relevant field.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Experience delivering trainings and working with national partners, authorities and UN agencies.

Required skills

• Project planning, design, drafting and technical writing.
• Advanced use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Budgeting and proposal development.
