SEO Manager – Media

About the role

WPP Media is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to drive organic growth for its media platforms. You will work closely with editorial, marketing and product teams to improve search visibility, optimise content and enhance the overall digital presence of the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies, including keyword research, technical recommendations and link‑building plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate SEO into content, product and marketing initiatives.
• Analyse competitor sites and industry trends to inform campaign tactics.
• Monitor performance metrics, produce regular reports and adjust tactics to meet client goals.
• Present strategies and results in client and agency meetings, maintaining strong relationships.
• Support the Search Director with data acquisition, insights and business review presentations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with SEO best practices and contribute to internal process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing SEO programmes in a fast‑paced media or digital environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuous learner who keeps abreast of industry developments and innovative tactics.
