Senior Web Developer

About the role

Tick’it, the leading event‑tech and ticketing platform in the MENA region, is looking for a Senior Web Developer to join its Beirut team. Working in a hybrid setup, you will help shape the core web applications that power ticket sales, event discovery and access management for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance web applications supporting Tick’it’s core products.
• Implement responsive front‑end interfaces using React, TypeScript and Next.js.
• Build and optimise back‑end services, integrate third‑party APIs and ensure scalability, security and reliability.
• Collaborate with product, design and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Review code, mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Participate in planning, testing and deployment activities for continuous delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with React and strong TypeScript expertise.
• Deep knowledge of Next.js (App Router, Server/Client Components, data fetching, caching, server‑side authorization).
• Solid understanding of front‑end architecture, APIs, databases and scalable back‑end systems.
• Experience with transactional e‑commerce features such as pricing, currencies, checkout flows and complex event states.
• Proven ability to build interactive SVG graphics and implement accessible, high‑performance interfaces (WCAG, mobile‑first).
• Familiarity with i18n/RTL (English & Arabic) and cross‑origin iframe communication.
• Knowledge of technical SEO best practices and tools (metadata, Open Graph, canonical URLs, Schema.org/JSON‑LD, sitemaps, Google Search Console).
• Proficiency with Git, automated testing, linting and type‑checking.
