Senior Solutions Architect – Cybersecurity

About the role

GigaKOM is seeking a senior‑level Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of advanced cybersecurity architectures for its enterprise and cloud clients. This fully remote position works with K‑12 school districts, higher‑education institutions, government agencies, and commercial organizations across California and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑wide security architectures covering network, cloud, identity, endpoint, and SIEM/XDR layers.
• Define and promote Zero Trust frameworks and reusable security standards.
• Develop long‑term security roadmaps aligned with business goals and compliance requirements.
• Partner with sales leadership on strategic opportunities, lead discovery sessions, and present security strategies to CIOs, CISOs, and executive stakeholders.
• Provide technical oversight, escalation support, and advisory guidance throughout project lifecycles.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in enterprise security architecture.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted technical advisor to executive audiences.
• Strong background in pre‑sales activities, proposal development, and RFP responses.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide cross‑functional teams.
