Senior Python Back‑End Engineer

About the role

CFI Financial Group is looking for a senior back‑end engineer with strong Python expertise to help build and enhance trading platforms. You will work closely with product owners, architects and other developers to deliver high‑quality, secure, and scalable services for the online trading industry.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to design and implement new features and products.
• Write technical specifications, choose appropriate technologies, and follow coding standards.
• Develop, test, and document solutions that meet business requirements.
• Present implementations to senior leadership and incorporate feedback.
• Write unit and integration tests and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Maintain and improve existing micro‑services, containerised applications, and messaging systems.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing Python applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, SDLC, and quality‑assurance principles.
• Experience with service‑oriented architecture, SQL/NoSQL databases, and version control.
