Senior Project Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Project Officer to support the implementation of client programs in Lebanon. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will coordinate daily activities, ensure smooth operations, and help engage stakeholders across education and community development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project activities.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations and monitor progress against timelines.
• Facilitate communication with partners, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.
• Collect and report data using established tools and processes.
• Support occasional travel to project sites for monitoring and evaluation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Project Management, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project implementation, preferably in the education or NGO sector.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Experience working in NGOs or similar environments.

• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Google Suite.
• Use of AI tools (e.g., Claude) to automate workflows.
