Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead and continuously improve the company’s procurement function, ensuring compliance, cost‑effectiveness and operational efficiency. This role works closely with finance, IT and internal departments to align purchasing activities with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and refine procurement policies, procedures and approval workflows.
• Oversee day‑to‑day procurement operations, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations and purchase execution.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance and ensure quality, reliability and competitive pricing.
• Obtain and evaluate at least three quotations for purchases above the approved threshold.
• Coordinate deliveries, logistics and inventory movements with suppliers and internal teams.
• Create and maintain purchase requests, orders, contracts and related documentation in Odoo ERP.
• Collaborate with Finance on budgets, invoice processing and payments, and with IT on technical procurement specifications.
• Review and optimise procurement and inventory processes, recommending cost‑saving initiatives.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activity, supplier performance and inventory status for management.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Proven experience managing supplier relationships and end‑to‑end procurement processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP (highly preferred).
