Senior PHP Software Developer

About the role

Chedid Capital Group is seeking a Senior PHP Software Developer to design, build and maintain core applications, websites and mobile solutions that support its global (re)insurance operations. The role involves close collaboration with project management, leading technical design, and mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer software designs and implement high‑level solutions meeting functional and security standards.
• Deploy and maintain a centralized backend accessed via an API gateway for multiple web and mobile front‑ends.
• Maintain and enhance identity services, CRM applications, and integration with external policy issuers and digital wallets.
• Supervise IT projects, provide progress reports, and coordinate with external security teams for penetration testing and hardening.
• Contribute to Agile project management, documentation, and continuous performance improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional application development experience.
• Strong understanding of front‑end (Vue.js, JavaScript) and back‑end (Laravel, MySQL) technologies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, preferably Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Linux‑based environments is a plus.
