Senior Marketing Specialist

About the role

Gray Mackenzie Retail Lebanon (GMRL), a supermarket and hypermarket operator active since 1996, is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist. The role is responsible for implementing the marketing activities of the group's brands and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Implement GMRL brands' marketing and communications strategies and develop advertising and marketing tools, including ATL and BTL materials, based on the yearly marketing calendars
• Create promotional content such as tactical flyers, seasonal brochures and advertising campaigns, and organize and supervise occasional events and related public relations work
• Develop press releases (with the agency's help) and their circulation, and contribute to social media content for GMRL brands
• Follow up on GMRL CSR activities and build a calendar for each initiative, including implementation
• Conduct store visits and market tours, and supervise and run mystery shopping visits
• Manage online and offline communication channels, and handle the advertising scene and competitor media reviews on a quarterly basis with the Media Buying Unit
• Coordinate with advertising agencies, media buying unit, PR agency, production and printing houses, and with commercial, operations and finance departments
• Work directly with GMRL outlets and the call center to ensure promotions, branding, campaigns, launches and events are implemented correctly
• Ensure in-house surveys and questionnaires are properly implemented, analyze sales figures and campaign performance, and carry out market surveys
• Monitor media daily, prepare competitive reports, manage the brand marketing and advertising budget, and generate monthly A&P reports and quarterly advertising expenditure versus sales reports

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
