Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead the organization’s internal audit function, assessing controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan across all business units.
• Lead operational, financial, and compliance audits, performing testing and risk assessments in line with internal audit standards.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports that highlight findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Present audit results to senior management and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
• Utilize data analytics to detect irregularities, support fraud prevention, and uncover emerging risks.
• Evaluate existing internal controls and propose process improvements to strengthen governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in internal auditing.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with data‑analytics tools is a plus.
