Senior Financial Compliance Specialist

About the role

The Senior Financial Compliance Specialist strengthens the compliance function by ensuring consistent application of policies across the organization. Working closely with local entities and the Shared Services team, the role guarantees that the group’s procedures and strategies are understood and implemented effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Support, enhance, and regularly update accounting software to meet evolving business needs.
• Participate in cross‑functional finance projects, analyse business processes, identify root causes and develop practical solutions.
• Oversee the tax function, ensuring compliance with tax laws in all operating jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with local and Shared Service Center accounting teams to detect, resolve and, when necessary, escalate compliance issues.
• Implement and continuously improve accounting policies and procedures for existing and new markets.
• Prepare standard financial statements and reports, performing monthly reconciliations and analyses.
• Conduct quarterly deep‑dive balance‑sheet analyses and present findings to senior management.
• Grant and review user access to financial modules, ensuring alignment with audit directives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in financial compliance or a similar role.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software.
• Strong financial analysis capabilities.
