Senior Data Scientist

About the role

CSP Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to work remotely on designing and delivering data‑driven solutions that guide strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to turn large, complex datasets into actionable insights and production‑ready models.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and explore large datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop, validate, and deploy predictive and prescriptive machine‑learning models.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualisations to communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production pipelines.
• Monitor model performance, conduct continuous improvement, and document best practices.
• Mentor junior data professionals and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Strong background in data science, statistics, and quantitative analysis.
• Proven ability to work in remote, cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and capacity to explain complex concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Programming in Python or R.
• SQL or comparable query language proficiency.
• Experience with machine‑learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with cloud‑based data platforms or services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Data visualisation tools for building dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Knowledge of AI agents and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
