Senior Communication Trainer (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Communication Trainer to join a pool of qualified experts for a 36‑month project on EU policy outreach in the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role is short‑term and on‑demand, providing strategic, technical and logistical communication support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver communication and media training programmes, workshops and seminars.
• Develop training materials, toolkits, presentations and practical exercises for diverse audiences.
• Facilitate capacity‑building sessions on strategic communication, media engagement and digital communication.
• Lead interactive workshops, group discussions and simulation exercises.
• Assess participants' learning needs and adapt training content accordingly.
• Evaluate training outcomes and produce post‑training reports with recommendations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to communication professionals and institutional stakeholders.
• Support the creation of sustainable learning resources and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in communication/media or comparable professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in communication/media.
• At least 3 years of specific experience designing and delivering training seminars.
• Proven facilitation skills.
• Fluent in English and French and/or Arabic as relevant.
